Rapicod® (butamirate)

Rapicod^® (butamirate) is a cough suppressant that can provide symptomatic relief of non-productive (dry) cough due to acute lower respiratory tract infections (tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, laryngitis), colds, and other conditions, and contributes towards decreasing the resistance in the airways. It works centrally by inhibiting the cough center within the brainstem.

Rapicod^® (butamirate) typically exhibits symptom relief within 10-30 minutes; however, consult your doctor for the specific dosage in your particular case.
