Protogyn® (tinidazole)

Protogyn^® (tinidazole) is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent that can treat parasite infections in the intestine and liver (giardiasis, amebiasis, amebic liver abscess), infections of the vagina and/or STDs (bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, including trichomoniasis resistant to metronidazole). It can be taken for other uses determined by your doctor.

Protogyn^® (tinidazole) is available by prescription only, and should be taken under medical supervision. It should be avoided in pregnant or lactating women. The full prescribed regimen of Protogyn^® (tinidazole) should be taken even if symptoms subside.
