Serodase® (serratiopeptidase) 5mg, 30 enteric coated tablets
Serodase® (serratiopeptidase) is a proteolytic enzyme that can break proteins down into their constituent amino acids. It is a food supplement that can reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain. It also reduces the viscosity of mucus and other secretions, and thus supports healthy sinusus. Because it can break down plaques and blood clots (including a blood clotting molecule called fibrin), and can do this in dead tissue without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue, it can enable better penetration and increased concentration of antibiotics in tissues and therefore helps increase their effectiveness.
Serodase® (serratiopeptidase) dosage ranges from 10 to 60 mg/day. It comes as enteric coated tablets to protect it until it reaches the intestines for optimal absorption. It is recommended to take Serodase® (serratiopeptidase) on an empty stomach or 2 hours after eating, and/or to not eat for at least 30 minutes after taking it.
